I wanted to share a powerful music video by Dallas Holm singing his hit song "Rise Again." I have tried several times but unsuccessfully to add it to my post. Therefore I will share the lyrics to the song.
Rise Again
Go ahead, drive the nails in My hands;
Laugh at Me...where you stand.
Go ahead, and say it isn't Me;
The day will come...when you will see.
*
{Refrain}
Cause I'll rise.... again;
Ain't no power on earth can keep Me down!
Yes, I'll rise....again;
Death can't keep Me in the ground.
*
Go ahead, mock My name;
My love for you is still the same.
Go ahead, and bury Me;
But very soon, I will be free!
*
Go ahead, and say I'm dead and gone,
But you will see that you were wrong.
Go ahead, try to hide the Son;
But all will see that I'm the One!
*
{Final Refrain}
'Cause I'll come again!
Ain't no power on earth can keep Me back!
Yes, I'll come again!
Come to take My people back!

"He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you, while He was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.'" ~ Luke 24: 6-7

The Lord bless you as you give thanks this weekend for what He did for you! Praise His wonderful name!

Pink Saturday and Happy Easter!

Happy Pink Saturday everyone and a Happy Easter to you all!

Our sweet hostess Beverly has asked us to do our post in pinks n yellows today, so here goes!
I will take you on a little tour of my Easter vignettes.

This little flower pot tied up with pink ribbon and containing pink flowers and a nest of eggs, I made a week ago. Little birdie is watching over it!
A bunny centerpiece....He is surrounded by flowers and eggs. The bunny itself is painted with an iridescent glaze.The mantel....Flowers, candles, eggs, birdies, and birdhouses. Crystal candle sticks surrounded by birdies, eggs, and posies....
You've all seen my tiered dish filled with hydrangea petals but I have added some tiny Easter eggs to it.
You have all seen my bunny dish filled with pink foil wrapped Hershey kisses. But did you know this is part of an Easter vignette in the dining room?
A little egg shaped box filled with Easter eggs and Easter chicks on the top cover.
The bunny pitcher is also part of the Easter vignette here.
Another peek at the whole vignette.
And this is my favourite bunny in the whole house; my toile lop-eared bunny which I found at Winners one year. He was six dollars and he has a place of honour sitting in his pink chair year round!
This bunny is awaiting dinner, all decked out in his yellow or rather golden finest, with a gold bell tied around his neck.I LOVE Lindt chocolate!
Time for dinner....my dinner! Yummy in my tummy!Now, please forgive me; I couldn't resist showing you this sweet little pink-eyed and pink-eared bunny rabbit! Isn't he just precious?Easter is a wonderful time of year! It is celebrated at a time when nature is waking up from a long winter's slumber. It is a pretty time of year, filled with lovely colours, bunnies, and flowers. Chocolate also plays a large part in it.

However, the real reason we celebrate Easter has nothing to do with eggs, baskets, or bunnies.

Easter is celebrated because of what our Saviour did for us. Jesus came and lived His life so that He could die for us. He who commited no sin, became sin, and went to the cross to shed His blood for us, that we might be free from sin. He became the sacrificial Lamb at Calvary.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. " ~ John 3:16
Thank you for stopping by today. Please make your way over to see Beverly http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/ and her party of pinkies.

Happy Easter friends and Happy Pink Saturday! God bless you and your family!
